Carrie Langenbach began working in the mental health field over ten years ago, first gaining experience as a certified sexual assault crisis counselor. After earning her graduate degree in counseling from California State University Long Beach, she began working in the field of addiction.
Carrie relocated to Northern California, where she worked for the nation’s only welfare-to-work counseling agency. She was licensed in California as a Marriage and Family Therapist in 2009. While helping adults with co-occurring disorders in Hawaii, she earned international certification as a substance abuse counselor. This dual qualification enabled her to relocate to Germany where she was employed with the Department of Defense and provided counseling to Soldiers of the US Army stationed abroad. Carrie returned home to Southern California in 2013 and has a private practice in Santa Monica where she treats adults and couples. Her specializations include substance abuse, trauma and mood disorders.
